2009
The Chang Eye Group is preparing to move to its new offices in the North
Gate Plaza, State Route 288, in the location being vacated by
Blockbuster.
Dr.
Alexander Chang has donated a significant portion of his current
facility, located at 522 Lawrence Ave., to Ellwood City’s Revitalization
and Economic Development project as a demonstration of his community
support.
The
Chang Eye Group will relocate to its new facility this summer and offer
state of the art medical eye care provided by Chang, Irving Weinberger,
M.D., Shauna Lushko, O.D., and Michelle Schraeder, O.D. The Chang Eye
Group has been providing ophthalmology and optical excellence for over
20 years serving Ellwood City and the South Hills of Pittsburgh with the
diagnosis and treatment of eye disease including cataracts, glaucoma,
macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Additionally, Dr. Chang
offers full service optical, fashion eyewear and contact lenses. The new
facility will have extended hours for the convenience of patients and
participates with most medical and vision care insurances.
As part of the Chang Eye Group’s partnership with Ellwood City, the
Chang Eye Group is sponsoring a Chinese auction as part of the
businesses grand opening festivities. Area merchants are encouraged to
participate with basket donations. All proceeds will go to the
revitalization project. Michelle Bable, office manager of the Chan
